Burn The Floor from Broadway

I went to watch “Burn The Floor from Broadway” with my colleagues last night. I had been really looking forward to watching it, and yesterday, I rushed to finish my work to be there on time! (I rushed and ran to get to the place literally! My colleagues finished their works earlier then me and they headed to the place on ahead. But I had all of their tickets and could not be late for the show!!)

The show was cool, hot and passionate as I expected. All dancers were amazing. Their dance performances attract people without any voices.

I was excited to watch one of the couples’ dance, Pasha and Anya who performed on American TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”. Their dancing is really cool and I asked my dance teacher to learn their dance steps, Cha Cha Cha! They danced Rumba with the song “Burn For You” in the show of Burn the Floor. It was kinda bittersweet dance but so romantic. I loved it. I wish I could dance like them.

After the show, all of us got excited to talk about it. You will like it too ;-)

Best Friend

The other day, we realized it’s been almost 10 years since we became friends. It’s really fast, and many things happened to us. Laugh and cry...How many hours did we spend together so far? Took the same classes, had a short trip, exchanged so many e-mails, made phone calls, and got drunk! Our lives changed a lot from our campus life. In some ways I guess, perhaps, we’ve been growing little by little...

Today, I happened to listen to a song “Best Friend” sang by Kana Nishino. To me, the song is about her. really… I got the same sentiments to all lyrics…

ありがとう
君がいてくれて本当によかったよ
どんな時だっていつも

笑っていられる
例えば、離れていても 何年経っても
ずっと変わらないでしょ
私たちBest Friend

...To you, Naoko

One Step

There was something that bothers me.
Maybe I had been thinking too much about the past and the future?

I knew nothing would be the same.
I knew I can create.
But something was standing in front of me, and I was not sure if I should follow the path even though I could believe in...

But your words had me take one step forward.
"I won’t give up because of uncertainty."

You blew off my anxiety.

I can believe, and I feel so happy about all the decision.

Thank you so much.

Wedding of my coworker

One of my coworkers had a wedding ceremony today. She was so beautiful. She IS beautiful, but today, she was shining.

She wore a pure white kimono and changed into a white dress. She looked lovely in both dresses, and her smile was so pretty.

The couple love to travel, so they prepared their wedding cake showing the places where they visited. It was nice!

At the end of the wedding, she read a letter to her mom. “My dad passed away 30 years ago, and my mom worked so hard, or too much for our family by herself. Thank you, mom. Set your heart at rest, please.” Everyone was moved to tears by seeing their relationship, mom and daughter…

Oyama-san,
It was really lovely wedding. Your smile was so beautiful. I wish you both happiness forever. Warmest wishes on your wedding!
