Internship-Power of Word-

「Oops!」 or 「A-ha!」

Which word makes you expect the thing will go well?

I think almost all of us say 「Oops!」 when we make a mistake. But why don’t we say 「A-ha!」 instead?? If a person says 「A-ha! That’s what I’m looking for!!」, I won't probably notice the person did something wrong.

This is what I learned from the president this week.

Memories of Korea

I went to see my best friend in Korea during my winter vacation. What a great trip I had…

We have got to know in Seattle. I remember we hit it off very quickly. I (we) think we are similar. I mean, our attitudes toward our goals, values in our life, ideas of culture differences, and love…those things are something we have in common. We grew up in different countries but we are very close. It is kind of amazing.

It’s been almost one year since we last met. As you could imagine, we talked a lot! Time goes so fast when I with someone I like. This time, I also met her friends. They were very nice. They can speak only Korean fluently and know some English words, but tried to talk to me in English. It was kind of them to teach me Korean. After having dinner together, we went to karaoke and they sang Japanese songs! You know, I enjoyed the time thanks to them.

My parents received the post card that I had sent from Korea. I hope they liked it!

I felt so sad when I had to say good bye to my friend. But we will see again for sure. After coming back to Japan, I developed some photos that I took with her. Now they are in front of me.

Internship-feel good-

You know what? I feel sooooooooooooo good after working in the office. I have never enjoyed working like this. fun and no stress! PLUS, it is the great place for learning ;-)

People in the office are just great! They are the very ones who create the working environment. You will never know it until you get to know them.

Since I took a long winter vacation (in order to visit my parents, go to see my friend in Korea, study for the coming test, and prepare for moving out), today was the first day for me to come to the office after New Year began. Do you know how much I got excited to see our staff again? Do you know how much I felt happy to come back to the office? Even though I have been kept busy, I feel like going there. No…I should say I would love to go.

Oh God, I just want to tell you I love there.

Happy New Year

It is always nice to be with my family. To me, it is really special. Maybe it is because I can hardly ever see them. Even though we do not do anything special, I am having a wonderful time with them.
