Best friend from Korea
My best friend HeeSun came to Japan and stayed here for 2 weeks, from Aug 4th to 15th. I feel close to her when I talk with her, no matter we have not seen each other for years.We kept talking and updating about our lives. So many things have happened to us, but we are same. Well, how do I say, our lives have been changing, but our mind, our core personality and thoughts stay the same, I think. We can understand so well.
I took a few days off while she stayed in Tokyo. We went to Ueno park, museum, Ameyoko, shopping, Yokohama, etc…She also came to watch my dance lesson ;-)
We laughed a lot about many things together. The funniest thing was “roast chestnuts”. When we were walking around Chinatown in Yokohama, one store staff gave us roast chestnuts to taste them. At the time, we were holding our bags and a bottle of water, so our both hands were almost full with stuff. We just got one chestnut each other, but it was too hot to hold it! We could just put it into our bag or somewhere else, but we could not think in that way. We kept saying “hot hot hot hot hot….”, (it was also really hot day.) and we were like doing juggling or playing beanbag with the chestnuts! It was so funny to look at each other and could not stop laughing :-)
We also relaxed on the grass in Yokohama. That was so refreshing!
Time flies… When I saw her off at the airport, I was already missing her.
We will see soon. Maybe in Korea next.
