Imagine Yourself

One of my supervisors told me this:

YOU can find the ones who you want to work with.
YOU can create the environment where you feel comfortable.
YOU can make yourself happy.
Everything depends on YOU.

So,

Imagine what kind of person who you want to be, and work.

Then,

People like you will get together around you.
Because they want to work with YOU.

I thought that should be true.

Summerlike Event

My favorite season, summer is ending...What did you do this summer?

I love to watch fireworks, but I could not make it this year sadly. I wish I could. But I went to AZABU festival with my friend. We had work during the festival, but on the last day of the festival, we tried to finish working earlier and rushed there. There were tons of people, and I realized it was such a huge festival. I enjoyed the food, BON ODORI (dance), and listening to the sound of TAIKO (Japanese drum).

And me and my best friend went to "Night Pool" the other day. We had been planning to go to the open-air swimming pool after work. We were supposed to feel relaxed by having a bathe and drinking a cocktail at poolside, BUT it was kinda cold on the day and also we were caught in the rain! God, it was not what we wanted to do, you know? But we had a nice talk, so it was ok.

Well, I think I did not do many things this summer, but I got some fun memories. Until next summer, I will enjoy the other seasons!
How about you? Did you get some memories from summer events?

Ballroom Passion

I must admit I LOVE ballroom dance!

I decided to learn ballroom dancing when I was in the first year of university. I started it as my hobby at first, but gradually I was getting into it.

In those days, I practiced dancing almost every day after school. I watched many ballroom dance videos and liked listening to the music. I kept talking about dancing!

Because of some reasons, I stopped ballroom dancing. It was so hard for me to quit it. But at the time, I decided to change my life and to try new things.

I was away from the ballroom dance world for a few years, but I began to learn ballroom dancing again this spring. Somehow, I felt I could go back to the world. but just as a hobby... Also I wanted to take up something to feel refreshed after work (and for work).

A couple of weeks ago, I went to watch the movie "Lesson!". My mom found the small advertisement and let me know it. The movie is about troubled teens started their lives all over by learning ballroom dancing. The kids were getting into the dance. I know how people get into it...

And today, I was done taking a test, I stopped by a dance shop. I spent a few hours just by listening to dance songs, watching DVDs, and looking at dresses.

I feel excited when I go to the dance studio, and I feel great after dancing.

To me, ballroom dance makes my life bright;-)
