Flow of a river

"Live like a river"
One told my friend.

Don't go against something or someone and listen to others, then life goes well.
It's like a flow of a river.

Greatest role model ever...and forever...

I sensed something was going on around her...I knew she wanted to say something to me for these several days. But today I lost my words when she told me she is going to leave the company at the end of Feb...

It is because her husband got job transfer to Singapore. She, senior veteran assistant of my team, decided to end her career of the company in order to go to Singapore with him.

I was almost done with my job when she talked to me today. When she asked me if I have 10 minutes to talk, I knew she was going to say something about her. About her situation...I was telling myself I needed to be ready for anything...

I think a couple always should be together, and I would do the same thing if I were her. But, I got really shocked when I knew her decision...

She told me that before the official announcement. She knew she should not have said that, but she did it for me because she knew I really respect her...

I trust her a lot.
I respect her working attitude.
I love her personality.
I enjoy working with her.
She gives me lots of lots of advice for not only my job but also my private life.
To me, she is the perfect role model...that's way I really appreciate that I can work close to her.
She is the wonderful woman I've ever met...

She is just ten years older than me, and after I met her, I got my clear goal, which is to be like her in ten years. Every time people asked me my future goal, I always answered "I want to be like her."

She is the trusted person from everyone, I mean, my team members, people from different teams and departments, and our clients. We really need her...but we have to work without her...I want to wish her the best and happiness in her life, but now I also feel so sad to say good-bye to her...

I will miss her for sure, but we can contact each other even after she leaves the company.

Amano-san, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's not enough though...Till the end of Feb, I will learn a lot from you and enjoy working with you.
